WHAT WE BELIEVE
God: The Creator and Sustainer
We believe in one God, who exists eternally in three persons: God the Father, God the Son (Jesus Christ), and God the Holy Spirit. This is known as the Trinity, three in one, fully unified yet distinct in their roles.
-
God the Father is the creator of all things, sovereign over the universe, and deeply loves His creation.
-
Jesus Christ, the Son, is the bridge between humanity and God, offering salvation through His life, death, and resurrection.
-
The Holy Spirit is God’s presence with us today, guiding, convicting, and empowering believers to live out their faith.

Jesus Christ: Our Savior and Lord
Jesus is at the center of our faith. We believe:
-
He is fully God and fully human, sent to earth to reveal God's love and truth.
-
He was born a virgin, lived a perfect, sinless life, and performed miracles that demonstrated His divine nature.
-
He willingly died on the cross as the ultimate sacrifice for our sins, offering redemption and forgiveness to all who believe in Him.
-
He rose from the grave three days later, defeating sin and death, proving His power and authority.
-
He ascended into heaven and will one day return to establish His kingdom fully.
Jesus is not just a historical figure, He is alive today, calling us into a personal relationship with Him.
The Holy Spirit: Our Guide and Helper
We believe the Holy Spirit is God’s presence actively working in the world today. The Spirit:
-
Calls people to salvation and opens their hearts to Jesus.
-
Lives inside every believer, offering wisdom, strength, and comfort.
-
Equips us with spiritual gifts to serve God and others.
-
Helps us understand the Bible and grow in our faith.
The Holy Spirit is our constant companion, guiding us through life’s challenges and shaping us to become more like Christ.

Salvation: The Gift of Grace
We believe that salvation is a gift from God, available to all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It is not earned by good works but received through faith.
-
Every person is separated from God by sin, but Jesus made a way for us to be restored.
-
By believing in Jesus and surrendering our lives to Him, we are forgiven, made new, and promised eternal life.
-
Salvation is more than just going to heaven, it’s about a transformed life, walking daily with God and living for His glory.

Why This Matters
At Travel Ball Church, we believe faith is not just something for Sundays, it’s for every part of life, including sports. That’s why we want athletes to remember these three words:
Pause. Pray. Play.
-
Pause – Take a moment before the game, before a big decision, or in a tough moment to reflect on your purpose and remember that your identity is found in Christ.
-
Pray – Seek God’s wisdom, strength, guidance in everything you do.
-
Play – Compete with character, integrity, and a heart that honors Christ.
